Hey Keith, had you been planning this trip in advance and got lucky with the dump (although last week of January is always a good bet for making your own luck), or did you split for there when you saw the front that would pass the Sierra?

Either way, a good call. I'm envious..

This is my scheduled yearly outing to the Rockies, MLK Day to President's Day, to SLC to use my Crystal pass at Brighton and then to Big Sky for the half price skiing and condo sitting at my cousin's place. (My cousin hates winter and goes to New Mexico Jan 1.) I just lucked out with the snow. However, it seems like every year I luck out in Utah.
