Pow Mow lived up to its name yesterday with 13 inches of new Wasatch pow. Although half the mountain (~3,000 acres) is still closed due to low base there was still plenty of opportunity for finding the goods. Skiing was heavenly with the low density powder and intermittant sunshine breaks. You know its good when you can see your rooster tail streaming behind you in your shadow. Off to the cottonwoods tomorrow with another 10 inches expected with a forecasted density of 10%. Although around here that is considered quite heavy, but I'll take it anytime.
