Dec 30th, Bachelor Hero Powfest

Although skier8484 and myself took a week off to hit UT, CO, and WY, it was clear that the PNW was gonna have the best snow. After salvaging the last of the stale powder stashes at Todd Lake and Tumalo, the forecasted storm that we were waiting for finally dropped 15" on Bachelor. We were able to get 35,000' of laps in the west bowls before they shut down NW express. The snow was very light, not at all like the typical bachelor concrete, and we only got one pic for proof; the rest of the time was spent wallowing in the cold smoke. Looks like the storm will spend one more day in Central Oregon before it heads up to Washington.
