The four inches of new snow skied nicely in the ski area, looks like the icy days are over until temps cool down after this weekend's forecast heat wave. Freezing rain around 9am had us worried but temps actually got colder through the day and no sun kept the snow in good shape. Tomorrow should be good, maybe better than today. Appears to be less fresh snow and calmer winds than Crystal. Two of our group found steeper terrain still fairly icy.
