Starting snowing heavily about 2pm. Break out the fat boards , it's grand salami time. Forecast looks like a huge dump for the next few days.

Snowing hard all the way down to Bonney Lake.

Props to the CMAC Race Kids. They are a class act. They ran a course on Quick Silver. Lots of talent . It's a pleasure to bump chairs for them on Ch 4. Very polite and they always say thanks.


I'm going to have to start bringing my camera . I get there early and have seen some great sunrises the past couple of weeks. Now it's time for the powder.

So you were bumping QS yesterday? One of those was one of mine. Orange pants, fullface. Nice to hear someone say something nice about CMAC for a change considering they've been under pretty heavy mountain scrutiny the last couple of weeks. Most are good kids, just like to go fast.

Kids will be kids. And kids do like to go fast. That is why they race.

Personally, I believe they bring a whole positive aspect to Crystal Mt that people don't appreciate. These kids are potential future Olympians. I totally enjoy watching them crash gates. It's pretty exciting. I know a lot of bystanders were also watching them.

I'm not sure why they get a bad rap. In all honesty, I found them to be very polite, courteous and always saying "Thank You" to us lift ops. It's alot more than I can say for the adult clientele we bump chairs for.

100% of the CMAC'ers are ten times better skiiers than the majority of the weekend adult gapers. Maybe , that is why the kids get a bad rap, because the grownups are jealous they can't ski that good. (Oops, I probably shouldn't have said that, but it is the truth.)
