Wet with a side of 'taters and fog on top.

Heather (the Supreme Commander) continued her lessons and I roamed the mountain in search of visibility and goodness.  Double Diamond was in fine shape and most runs were fast and packed; the recent rain has brought the base down a notch or two, but still enough coverage to play and make it enjoyable.

Don't forget the wax!!

We were there too and had a mix of heavy fresh turning to cold mashed potatoes and breakable crust Friday, then carvable hardpan with some light coverage gradually getting softer as Sat. went by. It would be great conditons very soon if we get some more fresh. In a few days?

Agreed about Double Diamond, great shape for the coverage. Also found 7Th meadows to be quite good on Saturday. Sunday felt like a spring day after the morning mist, not so bad on the goomed or skier packed runs. Quit after a few hours to go Chanterelle hunting. Masses of shrooms made up for the losses of snow. Going to be eating good this week.
