Last weekend/09 of Blackcomb lift-assisted steeps

I have been enjoying Blackcomb's double diamond runs for three weeks running. In some ways, they were the best ski days of the year, but that is very subjective definition.We didn't have the sunshine this last time but the steeps provided quality turns. Although we spent most of our time in Ruby Bowl (see photos below), we did Couloir Extreme (one of the top ten steepest in-bounds runs in North America) and Pakalolo in delightful conditions. Nice Telemon. I looked at your other pics expecting to see wall to wall bumps the size of VW Bugs. But no!! Nice and smooth!! I thought the days of good Whistler spring skiing were over. Must be the economy... and the weather.
