Scotty earlier asked for "one more powder day".  Mission Accomplished !
It was snowing from Enumclaw and the road was slushy then snow covered.  The snow was hanging from the trees and there was a light breeze.  For 4 hours we skied untracked lines in boot top to knee deep powder.  We sat on the chair and sometimes there was not another person visible. It was an epic powder day and the area was deserted.  Dave P created a link to some video we shot.  It was sooooo good.

It was definitely an "exceeded expectations" kind of day.    Even after almost 20 years, its still nice making turns with you Zap.:)

The endless winter continued in SnoGasmic proportions, yesterdays left overs morphed into today's freshies. Breakover on the first lap was a continuous face shot, the rope line above Bear Pits was truly fantastic although it was a bit crowed up there. Bad things can happen when you challenge a Scottsman for a 300 sq ft patch of fresh. Mind you this pair of boots only had 5 days on them ! Good thing Mr. Hensen was there for ski retrieval. We even took a boot up upper E for "Powder Ally" followed by a high line into Bananas. After watching the Scottsman on the reverse camber cheaters I may need to give them a 2nd look. I think they should be illegal, kinda like performance enchanse substances. Good times had by all. As I sit in B lot with 2 other happy camper motorhomes it is hard to see the season come to an end. That is all (for now)

Sorry about your boots, my edges where sharp and thank goodness it wasn't your leg!
We both saw that untracked patch, you went right around the tree to get it , I went left and we both met in the middle for a full head on collision. Keith was hurriedly trying to get his camera out to take a photo of the both of us on our butts, tangled up.
Great day and great company.
Thank you powder diety for that "one more powder day".

Now can you firm it up by Sat and Sun so we can ski corn in the sun on closing weekend.?

This might be a great way to end the lift served season.... great video! Hope there is some left for Thursday and perhaps the weekend.

... I was already envisioning a nice little hike up to henskin lake on a blue sky day.... looking for my skins. But first, some lift served pow!!!

No worries, no harm no foul. Good fun, I like how great minds think alike ! Just hope it holds and South gets open. Rumor has it that Short North and O meadows are on tap for tomorrow.
