Stewie, PNWBrit and I went OB and found 4" on nice smooth surface that skied really well. Skinned out and repeated.
Then we decided not to let Chair 6 closure limit our day, so we skinned up Lizard Back to the King and dropped the steep north face down to Lake Liz.
6" on top of hard crust that didn't slough and skied really nice.
TLC to Quicksilver, velvet smooth turns until about half way down where the brakes went on and the stickiness began.
Never done so much skinning while lift skiing

.....then there was my wreck on Quicksliver as I skied into the Quickrete zone at 35 mph. Think I cartwheeled four times?. Feels like I've been in a car wreck this morning. Worst of the season. Over the handle bars, mountain bike like intensity to it - the kind that leaves you with body parts sticking through the spokes and chainwheel teeth embedded in soft tissues.

Spectacular fall, it was amazing how it changed it just a few feet.
Last Powder day of the season tomorrow. Call in sick, inject yourself with ibuprofen and lets get it done.

Yea.... no matter how fast you go, the brakes get slammed on. Might try unsmoothing the bases with a bar of wax. Next time, I am going to try going on edge with some turns.... Beware - the Quicksilver flats..... :'( where is the skull and crossbones smiley?
