This April is insane (actually, most of the credit goes to March). It was just dumping all day.... This is April!!!! The steeper, the better. Maybe we are getting too used to this, to make a deal out of it. Still, it was just amazing today.
Simply a winter wonderland... dressed in full battle gear. Wind was moderate, cold enough, and tons of snow dropping out of the sky. By the end of the day, when trying to un-boot at the car, we had swirling snow blowing through the car. Sometimes I had snow up my nose and in my mouth.
At first I thought the pow was a little on the heavy side this morning. But as the day progressed and I got to cutting it up.... it didn't seem heavy anymore. Yes, foggy and bowl visibility was a challenge sometimes.
The trees are so heavy with snow, it is a wonder they don't start falling down. This is April!!!!

Not going to far out on a limb on this one. This time of year, even if the freezing level is at 500ft the sun is very high and turns the snow to heavy mash potatoes in very little time.If only the sun would shine on some of this...
Check it out if the sun comes out tomorrow.
Thanks for your Thursday report Larry, always a good read!

An early daylight savings this year has been very beneficial for early AM powder runs.
Check it out if the sun comes out tomorrow.
