What can you say? Deep snow, some wind drifts. Stayed cold all day. Unbelievable day for the end of March! The locals were out in droves, as the trails less traveled were getting hit early. Crowds were large early, but thinned to ski up wait two chairs around noon on. Front side ripping in the afternoon and over the head pow when south opened. Forecast looks good for the week. The economy is suffering, so please work hard to support the cause or blow it off, yardwork can wait, arrange someone else to take the kids to baseball and soccer practices and hit your local hill.

Holy crap was it good. Best time I've had in Northway area after lunch -- no lines on the lift, plenty of snow left and NO ONE around. Where'd everyone go? God damn that was fun...

May be coming down there tomorrow or Wednesday

Tuesday will be the day! More snow forecast tonight and legs will have recovered.

Should have called you guys.  My bro and I were ripping all day on the 28th.  I thought about hitting it again but went for Alpy. It did not suck, that is for sure. I don't think we had to wait in line once...I don't even want to try to add up the elevation dropped.  Hehehehe...

Am sad and disheartened to report that Monday was the day ! ! Almost back to normal mid week attendance, the spring break bunch largely stuck to Chair 9. South was a ghost town and the snow held up remarkably well. Some consolidation to be sure but great great quality. North had a little more traffic than usual, a lot of lookey lous who seemed to want to find out what all this powder skiing is about. Hope they enjoyed the mogul try outs.By and large a great day. On a further note our old friend Ross Gregg was crowned DirtBag King at Saturday's festivities with Queen Sharon Carter. Ross and another respected elder Gary Morrison were responsible for cutting the I 5 trail. Ross was was one of the original CM patrolers, he still rips on 215's from the garage sale last year. BTW as of 8:30 it's foggy and calm in B lot. That is all (for now)
