Thursday - Had to look around to find the good spots.

Well...  I enjoyed the pow last Saturday.  I was hoping that plenty would be left over for today, but we have undergone some temperature fluctuations that have condensed the pow already.

Wide variations in the weather today... filtered bluesky and sun, fog, stinging sleet, large flakes about lunchtime.  As the air got pushed up the mountain, fog seemed to form on the ridges and along cat tracks making visability tricky along Snorting Elk Bowl track and Luckyshot track.

Finally! .... a nice cat track along Snorting Elk Bowl and it was actually nice skiing Snorting Elk today.  In some places the pow was condensed and in other places where the sunlight didn't hit, it was still nicely skiable.

The Suck Zone: Below the bottom of the Rex chair/Queen Chair.   Really suuuuucky....  hit the brakes, throw out the anchor...  errrgh, errrgh, errrgh...

I didn't have any problem with Lucky Shot, but some others thought it was soft.   Had a lot to do with sun exposure, air temps...

Winter is over in a few hours... so officially Spring Skiing tomorrow.

There is a good snow pack.... but I think the temp changes left too much moisture in the snow... need some wind to dry it out.
