I had no intention to devalue accident analysis and discussion.  Just asking that we all be tactful in initiating discussions immediately following an incident.  I could have been more tactful in my emotional response.  There are better times, places, and ways to phrase the important questions.

I'd be more blown away to meet a patroller that thought of themselves as "Safety Police"


There are a few ski areas in upstate New York where they do...

Having said that, I took a hell of a bell ringer on Sunday, at speed which made me glad that I was wearing my helmet. I think one positive that is coming from the recent deaths that have been made public is an elevated awareness and some of the dialog regarding the identification of symptoms, as they relate to head trauma. After my fall, I was thinking, do I have a head ache, is my vision impaired, can I formulate clear speech, etc...?
