3/7,8 2009 Meany Lodge Howling for more powder

Please don't anyone tell me that the dogs pictured in the movie are not hounds.  I’m pretty sure they’re not.   But the skiing and boarding and yes, even skijoring, was so good all powder hounds were howling for more!

Good sized turnout for Carnival weekend, but none of the planned races on the hill were held since the powder skiing was so incredibly good.  Skits, talent show, limbo contests and dancing were all held in the evening and it was great fun.  We ran the tows until dark.  No one wanted to leave and it was the last regular ski weekend, wait, EXCEPT that the chair says if we get 40 to signed up by Wed night we’ll extent to this coming weekend.  www.meanylodge.org   if you are interested.
