another nice ski day

snowed probably 8-10 inches overnight on top of all the new from yesterday and the past few days. All but the most elephantine moguls were completely unnoticeable; mach 10 face-shots and pillowy cliff drops were enjoyed by the masses.

The line at chair 2 looked huge but only took 10-15 minutes all morning.

All points of access to the BC were open. I did a few near in runs, the farthest being off the high traverse around the knolls into the big bowl above the dreaded trash can. Came back hard right to the top of gun barrel, which was great.

side note 1: looking up from the parking lot it was apparent that "nobody" (or actually less-body) skis the ropeline or rock face -- way less tracked than the elevator area. The laws of physics suggest that there is just as much vert to be had, and what it lacks in narrowness it makes up for in longer sustained pitches. Not that I bothered.

side note 2: I lost my helmet (silver) and goggles (amber Oakleys) in the lot across from Sessel or there abouts. if you have find them contact me and demand a $50 ransom. I'll counter w/ 30 and we'll settle on 40, everyone walks away happy!

Alpental was sweet this morning!  Fluffy pillowy pow pow.  We really needed this dump. Thank you snow gods.

Ill agree the snow was great and I stayed in bounds because everyone else hit the back country and was still getting nice soft turns at 3pm. Style points to the duo that face planted falling off chair 2, made the time in line more entertaining
