With Skibowl reporting 20 inches of new snow in the previous 24 hours, we decided to head up after work last night. Visions of face shots clouded our brains, but the reality when we arrived was 33 degrees, a rain/snow mix thoughout the evening, and some "challenging" deep snow. Oh well, it beats another multiday inversion. Looks like it should be only improving on Mt. Hood over the next couple of days with temperatures dropping and a stubborn front stalled over the area.
On a side note, there were some large slide paths on the west and east faces of the upper lift area, presumably triggered by the pre-opening afternoon patrol.
