rode at West at the 4pm Wednesday opening, so all of the new snow from this latest "storm cycle" was present.
I'd say they got 4 inches total. It isn't riding as deep as the snow 2 weeks ago and the base underneath feels harder. First tracks in areas to which the wind (which seemed pretty considerable) transported snow and lower-angle slopes were the most fun; the second time through and steeper slopes not so much. The groomers were nice and should be okay for a couple of days.
Saw a teleskier take what appeared to be an entire run backwards, making teleturns, hauling ass. Nice.
