It was pretty ice at the start of the day but warmed up quickly, and the snow became more and more ski-able throughout the day. Lots of moguls but pretty fun to play around in, and biggest bonus almost no people and no lines to chair 2.
The cover is pretty bad though, hopefully that snow will really come this week. Rollen is all rocks now at the entrance, even if it was open no one would make it, international is really rocky at the top, with some vegetation peeking out in the middle of the run as well..
Upper BC entrance was open, the snow was really good out past piss pass, there was still some areas untouched, the rest was pretty much soft packed powder.. Did one run down knoll 1 into trashcan, that was a mistake. Cover is really bad ended up going in the trees instead so I didn't see the carnage from the climax avalanche at the bottom. Anyone know anything else about it? I heard a patrol talk about it for a second but i didn't catch all of the conversation.
