took a couple of runs at around 3pm after touring Granite Mtn. It wasn't bad -- definitely not full on spring conditions as the packed out snow under the top few inches stayed pretty hard, but in the sunny spots and in general it was skiable. Down in the valleys it was harder, with a liberal sprinkling of skier-made sugar on top.
No crowd, the people out were almost all skiers, mostly a little older, and generally very good. I managed to make some horrendous snowboard scraping noises on steeper terrain that the affore mentioned skiers seems to quietly carve through.
If it is warm again tomorrow hitting it at 11 and taking off around 3 might work. The flatter, more sun exposed terrain over across the freeway might be fun too.
