Super Cold -20C/-4F, but perfect blue bird skies!

We had to take a couple laps into the lodge to warm up...kinda wimpy I know.

Dispite no new snow for a while the windpack off the Peak Chair was great. The pic's below are me in the AM shade, and my wife in the PM sun.

BTW-The Peak2Peak is pretty impressive and makes it super easy to ski both Whistler and Blackcomb in the day or even in the a couple hours.

Quite the contrast with the 2 shots. The one of your wife in the sun---is that windpack that has blown onto a slope? Looks fresh enuf to me!

Yeah...the snow was blown in from above and across the hill. Some areas were blown totally bear, but in the channels where it landed was like skiing fresh fallen snow.

Can you ski to the bottom? I'm heading up thursday, staying at creekside.

How was blackcomb glacier and the nooks and crannies by the tbars?

You can very easily ski to the bottom. They're making a ton of snow. Didn't get to blackcomb glacier, but the w and s aspects were Boney/icy. Found some decent turns in harmony/symphony, but nothing great. Killer views though.
