The hard rain turned to snow about 3/4 of the way up the Big cottonwood Canyon Road. It hardly stopped all day.
Early the snow was wet but plenty of it. (Not enough though to flatten out the bumps underneath.) Latter there were grapple storms and then latter in the afternoon the snow became small flakes and improved in quality. Visibility was fair but much better than yesterday.
Best runs were on Scree Face on Mount Millicent. Steep enough to power through the heavier snow. Too snowy to take many pictures.
No lift lines. Able to use my Crystal Pass for a free day of skiing.
This morning the Little Cottonwood Road is closed because of snow but set to reopen at around 8:30. Should be good at Snowbird as it is much colder today with temps at Bird's summit at 18 degrees. (On the way I guess I better stop at the store for a snorkel, balloons, and a diaper...I guess...(per ZAP)).
