Skied Revelstoke. Wow, amazing mountain in the event of snow, and they *usually* get lots I'm told. Today it was ice and firm. Right at freezing on the top 2/3 of the mountain. -6 C and ice fog below.
Lodges have yet to get their act together. Had to go almost to the bottom to get a beverage. Lifties about outnumbered skiers. Good for skiers bad for business.

The only time I've ever skied at Kicking Horse, also theoretically known for awesome snow, it was bullet-hard ice on the upper mountain with no fresh anywhere... It gets COLD in Canada!

The only time I've ever skied at Kicking Horse, also theoretically known for awesome snow, it was bullet-hard ice on the upper mountain with no fresh anywhere...  It gets COLD in Canada!


Yeah I heard Kicking Horse sucks  ;)
