4-8pm night sesion. It had been sunny all day, but was colder than forecast before the sunset, and dropped below freezing pretty much right at dusk. The groomers were hard but passable. Off the groomed it was a shiny, choppy horror show.
All in all marginally worth the drive. Definitely the best time today would have been at the peak of heat and/or height of the sun -- suspect this will be the case tomorrow too.
