Slowly opening up more terrain at Alpy. Lower mountain had 3-4 inches of really sugary snow over the top of what had been tracked out the previous days. Chair 2 opened relatively early but only had 2 runs open. 6-9" of dense powder on Intl with occasional slide debris from avy control. At noon they opened up Snake Dance and the snow was deep. With only three runs off the top available it was pretty crowded, and the line at Chair two was really long.
Elevator Gate was also open starting about noon. The day started with really low vis, but things cleared up after the first hour. Awesome to see the Alpental crew get the quad running before 9:00, and chair 2 uploading right at 9. Great snow.
