My first day back at alpy this season. Unfortunately not only did the highway close for 2 1/2 hours trying to get up the pass for control work, but the weather didn't cooperate when we got up there as well, mostly freezing rain, a little bit of snow at the top of armstrong. The cover is still very thin, looks like couldn't even roll a groomer on it. Took a lap and went back home wet... hopefully the snow will start catching up or it will be a short season..

I was there Saturday too. Must have gotten over the pass right before it closed because there were maybe 5 cars in the lot that parked after me and it was ski on lifts all morning. It was snowing at 9 when the lifts started, then slowly changed to rain. The upper half of the runs were really nice, but the lower half was super heavy and wet, still worth it for the turns higher up though.
