Braved the roads in our 2-wheel drive (but w/ snow tires) truck up to govy camp today. Long, long commute. Surprisingly, the roads are better the closer you get to Mt. Hood. Gresham seemed the worst, with chunky ice formed at most intersections on the return trip.
Well worth it, though - good conditions at skibowl with lots of fresh snow to toss around. Really fun skiing below the upper lift and in the trees to skiers left of the lift. There are still some lurking rocks and wood in many of the bowls and especially the trees, but one more good storm should probably cover most of it up.
