Dec 18,19 2008 Whistler

It looks like I left all of the good snow in Washington this week . Whistler/Blackcomb still doesn't have any cover what so ever, around 22 in. They need at least 2 or 3 feet before it's worth coming up here. Lots of rocks exposed everywhere with brush sticking out, no runs are open. Even the runs under Jersey Cream, are closed, you have to ski around by Solar Coaster on blackcomb and even that is full of obstacles. Other than that, it's freaking freezing, temp is hovering between -3 F to -11 F, which makes everything that much more unbearable. Anyway, I'd stay away until at least a few more storm cycles.
