Real quick --

there is a couple of feet of light powder up at the pass.  Surprisingly tiring slogging/skinning up to the top of the Silver Fir chair, right up under the chair the whole way.

It was cold, 15 degrees in the lot, and windy.  Lots of wind transport and higher up on the hill some wind pillows, from 6 inches to 18 inches thick, seemed pretty eager to let loose, cracking of as I skinned through them.  All in all though stability seemed good (YMMV) as the bushes anchored things pretty well.

I didn't touch bottom on the way down, and the snow was fantastic, but the run kind of sucked because of the brush sticking out everywhere.  If you are heading to the pass for a quick couple of laps, the runs around 360 face at central are a much better choice and certainly doable without wrecking your gear.

Last note on the cold -- it was maybe 12 degrees and windy at the top.  My dog was whining a little about his paws being cold (he's fine) by the time we turned around.  It was cold enough that there was little room for error if something went wrong, so just bear it in mind.
