Next to the last day at Crystal. Bluebird with temps in the 50's. Skiers in shorts, t-shirts...

Didn't freeze overnight so there was lots of sticky snow of the flatter sections. Very nice skiing Powder Bowl, moguls on cmac, Green Valley, Iceberg, Snorting Elk face. Made 2 trips up the Throne with Team Wally. The Jing was closed at around lunchtime because of avalenche danger. Northway was hateful with hard bumpy snow and off-piste cement that slid off the face.

Here find some pics

Gotta go and head up for the final day. Can't wait until next ski season...

Thanks for being there for me... ha ha... I am building a garden shed today.
Cool photography and nice vid.

Yup... End of ski season and the temps can turn on a dime. But we got our money's worth this year.

Hey Keith, nice meeting you and Team Wally on closing day.
I think the conditions on closing day where slightly better than the day before as it wasn't so sticky.

I was pursuaded to ski Left Angle Trees for my last run which was a mistake as it was mashed potatoes all the way but since it was my favorite powder run all year , it seemed a fitting place to end it. What a season! I will now have to reaquaint myself with my family.

It was great meeting you and Off-Piste.

It was less sticky on Sunday. Packed powder and the groomers were sweet but the off piste was definitely leg buster cement.

Did Brain Damage but there the snow was pretty hard then at the bottom killer cement.

Ckick here for pictures from Sunday

Good to meet you guys too! It was a good weekend for putting faces together with names (handles anyway). Met some TGR folks too and got to demo a pair of terrific skis made by a very ambitious and craftsman-ly young fellow from tacoma too.

Got home with sunburn and tired kids both days. Skied brain damage last monday when it was still in decent shape.

Remember, it's OFT-piste with a t. For some reason I think it would be less than humble to have the handle 'off-piste' unless I were some kind of touring, cliff-jumping, hard charging maniac skier which I'm not.
;)

Hope to see yous all at Alpental in the coming weeks.

OfTpiste, I think your'e a hard charging maniac skier. Well your kids are anyway! :)

They are the fastest little groms I've seen and the 360 off the jump by your kid was superb especially infront of all the people sitting by the jump. ;D

Good luck kepping up with them much longer. See you at Alpy although I think I'm heading to Baker this weekend as I need to ski the Shuksan arm. 8)
