Thursday - Blue sky groomer day.
Well... there was a little pow around depending on the slope aspect and time of day. This is more like spring skiing, quite variable by day, time of day and aspect. Groomers were crisp. Tested something that looked like pow and got caught in breakable crust. Then tested some on a north aspect of Snorting Elk Bowl and it was loose pow... just a couple inches.
Mostly blue sky day cruising on groomers. Ice Berg was pretty nice and smooth - some loose snow adhering nicely to the plate.
The snow pack is in good condition... detected some stickyness in some spots. Had glaring sun for a while. Yes... we really lucked out with some pow lately... got spoiled. Now it's still pretty good for late in the season.
Some pics and vid... nothing great, just to show conditions.
