Thursday - We skied the heck out of this place.  It was really a carver day.  Although I tried carving with my Pocket Rockets.

Sunny and blue mid morning, a high haze kept things cool.  I took the fleece liner out of my jacket - layered down.  And skied without my forgotten helmet and didn't bother with a cap.  Wore my lightweight REI gloves.

The snow surface was still fresh from the nice six inches of last weekend.  Hard packed and groomed.  Even though the temps have warmed up a little, the snow was crisp in the morning, softened a little about noon and froze back up at 2:00pm.

Morning - Things were nice and crisp with skis throwing off snow dust.  I noticed that trees still had snow piled up on north facing branches.

The 2:00 freeze made things pretty slick.  I was bombing towards Rolling Knolls and took that right hand tiny trail back towards the Burn.  Slipped right off the trail like sliding into home base feet first, down into some tree branches.  Of course this was after a beer and a few sips of grand marne.  But things did really get slick.

Dropped off the Otto Bahn into some deep snow in the trees in North.  Of course played the moguls at the bottom.

Some kind of ski competition off the top of Grubstake Peak down into Snorting Elk Bowl.

Iceberg -  lots of sluff with boilerplate.  Nice run.

Kelly's Gap at noon.  Nice.  Snow got sucky half way down just before turning off into lower Exterminator.  Lower Exterminator - the mother of all moguls.  How do they do that?  I mean moguls with steep vertical drops.

All runs top and bottom were good but got icy slick late in the day.  Mid steeps like Cmack, Burn, Rolling Knolls, Luckyshot, Green Valley were nice and smooth.

Forecasted snow - Friday... looks good for the weekend if temps stay down.
