Didn't have huge expectations for Steven's as the web said 5" new (I've been spoiled this year, I know), so got a late start hoping the forecast for snow all day would help. First run up 7th heaven, then traverse to Tye Mill changed my attitude fast. This was way more than 5"!!!. Front side higher bowls were deep, but the backside was scraped off icy moguls by the time we got there. Headed back to 7th, and stayed there until they closed. Avoiding groomers on Skyline and Hogsback for the rest of the day yielded many powder stashes in the trees.
All in all, much better than I expected!
