Feburary 13, Whistler Blackcomb Slack Country

Hit a day of perfect temp -6c and sun to explore Corona Bowl, which is directly across Blackcomb Glacier from Spanky's ladder. When I looked over from Spanks there were 0 tracks, when I got there only two lines had been laid down. Upper mtn was on wind hold Tuesday leaving 6-8 untouched today. Minimal consolidation of the new layer which made for several sluffs running free. Huge release on Decker, easily 120 m across still visible from three weeks ago. Spearhead glacier crevasses appeared to be filled in. Observed a couple sets of yo-yo tracks on Spearhead proper. All in all a great use of two hours. Full pics here
