Yesterday, Saturday, was certainly one of the busiest of the year at Crystal. Cars were turned away because of no place to park.
Wonderful, cold, light powder. Snowed much during the day. Pretty foggy at times. Very crowded but still great skiing with the highlight being fresh tracks on Left Angle Trees. Cleared out by 3:00. Forest Queen stayed open until 5.
Sunday was also very busy. Cold, and foggy with visibility challenges. Met up with Team Wally in the early afternoon. We did a run down the K2 face then over to Morning Glory bowl. We then headed over to ski O-Meadows and the next thing you know TM is hauling me down Niagara's--twice. Our third run to the North, O-Meadows was kickin' with lots of fresh and deep pow and even the chopped powder was Rocky Mountain light.
