Thursday - Interesting year so far... can go out and get fresh pow almost every day? At Crystal? Well... like Seattle's sports teams, Crystal is somewhat inconsistant.... never know what you are going to get, hour by hour. But we have certainly been getting a lot of snow.
Even though we get what you might call heavy powder, it actually had a touch of dryness this morning. After skiing for a while it seemed heavier. Of course, as the day progressed it got chopped and bumped - I got tired about 2:30. I am not sure they are even running the grooming machines these days.
Had some delightful sun breaks - great visability. Then medium fog and heavy snow. Light winds.
Avy bombs going off... but South was open for business. Deep Pow for the taking.... even around the lower runs.
