Crystal Mt. 12/21/2007

Crystal was going off. Sun poked out. Dry powdery snow. West Face gave up the goods. Lines were long in the morning but by 1 PM , thinned out and skiied right back on to the chair.

Willies Run was epic. Ski Patroler was guarding the #4 North Back gate. I guess a few poachers snuck in and they were trying to lay down the law. Probably trying to keep it fresh for the grand opening on The Northway Lift tommorrow.

The Northway Lift looks sweet, but almost out of place. A groomed run in the north back? Otto Bahn. ?? Hope no one takes a hard right on to Niagras without knowing what's there.
