Skiing the past 4 days has been very tiring for this old body. :'( When I noticed that Central was opening, I knew it would be easy to entice Perlin to ski the untracked. The short story is that the conditions were very good. We cycled the edges of the groomed runs which had about 12-18" of powder. The high speed quad provided an hours entertainment then we skied the triple 60 chair runs for another hour. It's one of the few times you can fall line ski Triple 60 and Parachute without any moguls. Silver Fir chair was not operating. There are some areas below Parachute that have been only partially rolled. This leaves some walls of hardened ridges that may be difficult to see in flat light or a blizzard.

8-12" very light over a pleasant base on triple, parachute, etc. No Silver Fir, no passage to Summit West. Triple 60 chair never crowded, so just yo-yo-ing snoq style. Credit card machines at the ticket booth had issues in the morning but they improvised!

Had a great time there today as well. Face shots at Ski Acres are rare these days, but Triple-60 gave me some colds blasts. Damn this stuff today was light!
