December 19-20,2007 Stevens

Skied Stevens yesterday and today (Dec 23-24)... 20" in last 24 hrs! The backside was killer, deep deep snow there right now. Pegasus Gulch area thru trees (skiers right of S. Cross chair) was some of the better terrain with chopped up powder but still able to find fresh lines around the tighter trees. This powder made me wish my 85mm under boot was 95+ mm, a few face plants in the deeper pow had me waist deep looking for my skies ... and more snow on the way!
