Anybody going to the sunday show (5pm) at Pantages on November 11?
I'll be in the sturtevant's ticket block (seat n-21). Please introduce yourself if you're there.
I'd like to meet fellow posters in person.

Hey Keith.... I already bought my Tacoma tickets for Saturday... Next year we'll have to co-ordinate ahead of time.
I have recorded about five or six Warren Miller flicks on my dvr. Watch them all the time. Saturday will be my first theater experience. I plan to kick back with a half pound of peanut M&M's and just soak it all in.
BTW did you catch this vid of the Crystal Mtn Northway lift construct? Click on the video viewer to get it up full screen... cool! www.king5.com/video/index.html?nvid=190019&shu=1

I have tickets for Saturday too! It's always a blast at the WM movies.
I hit up the Pray for Snow party at the Harmon in Tacoma last night. It was pure madness. Looks like everyone is itchin' to get out there.

Did anyone else note how few snowboarders appeared in the new film? It was, I'd say, 85% people on skis and not snowboards.
Also, picked up the kool new Crystal map-- poster size!

Didn't notice the lack of snowboards until you mentioned it, but sure did notice a lack of women! We saw it at the Pantages and really enjoyed the smaller venue and lower db level. I love the fabulous scenery of Alaska and huge powder as much as anyone, but these movies are like info-mercials for the Alaskan charter services. I miss the exotic, far off places like Morocco, Russia, South America, etc.
Like everyone who saw the movie, I'm dreaming of kites now.
All in all a hugely enjoyable film. The new company seems to have made some good changes. Sure got us all psyched for winter!
