No... not tatoos, athough that is an intriguing idea.
Some newpaper ski blogs:
Ski Junkies
Addicted to the snow? Join the Ski Junkies for the word on the best snow, best areas and backcountry, best views and all the best stuff for skiing the mountains around Seattle (and occasionally beyond). blog.seattlepi.nwsource.com/ski/
Surfing the Cascades: A Northwest Snowboarding Blog
Riders on the storm, unite! This blog is dedicated to exploring all of the ways that the usual snowboarding suspects get the most from Washington's mountains, whatever season it may be! blog.seattlepi.nwsource.com/snowboarding/
The Tacoma Tribune is putting up a lot of stuff:
The price to hit the powder
Skiing costs continue to climb. Is the sport destined to be elitist? www.thenewstribune.com/adventure/ski_preview/story/189659.html
“Are we pricing people out? It’s a good question,” said John Kircher, owner of Crystal Mountain and the Summit at Snoqualmie.
(...must bleed them carefully)

A review of Crystal's Northway:
Crystal's backcountry just got closer

Just in case y'all missed seeing Crystal's weird TV commercial for Northback:

Nice roundup of articles. One thing I discovered via the blog: word is, no more free birthday passes at Stevens! >

This rather bums me out, because I was planning on scoring my free ticket on the 13th.

I wrote to stevens about the discontinuation of the birthday pass. I received the reply that they stopped the program because those who had birthdays when stevens wasn't open (like during the summer) were upset and that it bordered on "discrimination"!
Apparently upsetting people didn't influence another decisison:
The PI article today reports that at stevens anyone wanting to use the terrain park must pay a seasonal $5 fee and watch an 8 minute video.
