I didn't see the LTD pass.  I think that one's got my name on it.  I would say the $80 extra is worth the option of skiing inbounds on the weekends.  I've given up on Alpental on the weekends anyway (until spring). 

GregL, I would hate to see a bigger, spiffier lift up there.  If anything, just put in a brand spankin new double chair when the old one bites the dust.  I don't want anything to change on Alpental.  But I understand that the price can only go up over time, dammit  >

Heads-up. If anyone's interested the child's and junior pricing is back to $50 for a limited time. Apperently the pressure got some response.

My wife just bought season passes for the kids. She was told that the youth price was a mistake and that they will only offer it until 10/1.

Before anyone gets excited about working at Sun Valley you should know that the nice folks who run that place make their employees buy their passes to the tune of $1100. That was several years ago, the price has probably gone up.

Baloney. It was no mistake. They got hammered by many, many unhappy customers and relented temporarily to keep their email servers from overheating! It was indicated that some announcement would be made about Summit/Crustal passholder benefits yesterday. Nothing yet.
