2/27 night session Snoqualmie

Really nice, cold, colorado-type snow up there that is holding up really well. You could make powder turns in the rubble the snow cats piled up on the sides of the groomers, for instance. It was dead still and only snowing very lightly, but apparently they picked up another six inches last night.

Summit West will be great tonight -- untouched since Sunday at 5pm. And Mission got seriously dumped and won't open until Thursday morning. That should be off the charts. I'm going to ride West Wednesday night, drive to mission, sleep in my truck and burn powder runs all day Thursday. Either that or not and I'll remain employed ...

Hank, I hiked for two runs this morning at Mission. I really don't think it would be worth losing your job over. I'll bet night skiing at Snoqualamie Pass will be great. Who want's to ski 1-2 feet of blower pow over a soft base anyways?-Aaron

There was 8 to 10 of blower at Alpental today, and no one there...
Anywhere on the Summit is going to be good tonight. Even a headlamp tour on Hyak will be a good call.

Tomorrow for Alpental looks real good too. We had face shots all the way down right side of rock face, crazy...

Absolute sickness up at the pass today!

Its really cool how a storm cycle can turn the area into a new place all over agian, it was sweet, found a few new little dips and drops between the trees and rocks, get to it before the temps go up.
oh yea baby.... stay in the cleared areas , watch out for shrungs and slide cracks
