Welcome back winter.
I was a bit hesitant to make the trip up to Stevens today for two reasons: holiday crowds and only a couple inches of new overnight. I'm glad I went. First of all there were no crowds, unless you went into the lodge. Secondly, the snow was pretty decent and if you could stay out of the main tracks it was downright pleasant. In some spots, whether in some of the bowls or more open glades or off of Pro chute, the snow was damn good and even deep in some places. A pretty wet snow fell all day and by the time I left around 3:30 it was dumping.
Anyone going tomorrow?
