It was about 40 degrees all evening and the snow felt like it hadn't refrozen for a day or two -- I could push my whole hand into the snow bank on the side of the parking lot.
And it was super fun -- carvy and soft enough to fall but no puddles of water -- hero snow, in a way.
We did a little walk over to triple-sixty since that lift was closed -- that was great since the moguls were soft and carvy.
But the most fun thing was the park and halfpipe -- they are in good shape and the snow was soft and forgiving. We even had fun lapping the "kiddy" park over by the beginner's chair at the west end of central, sorting out some basic new tricks on the little boxes and hips.
All in all a terrific time that we could have easily passed on -- add this to the "if you don't go you don't know" file!
