Jan 25, 2007 Crystal Mtn

Thursday - A blue sky day at Crystal!   Cold, groomer day for the carvers. 

Mostly stayed on the groomers... a little icy.   Softer snow in the sun.  Iceberg was good.  Mostly we just screamed down the groom.  Things were very smooth and fast!   I think it will be like this for the next week.   I won't get to go skiing for the next two weeks unless I can sneak up early next week.

Saw one poor gal skiing alone who left about a 300 foot long yard sale down Sunnyside. She must have really tumbled.  One ski a couple hundred feet up the hill was stuck straight up in the snow by the tail.  Ouch! That must have hurt.  She seemed ok as we watched from the REX... she was trying to hike back up the hill to get all her gear.

As much as I like setting land speed records on this stuff, I am dreaming of the deep stuff.   Dream on, I don't think anyone has it right now.  Pray for another storm?
