January 17, Alpental Night Skiing

Got to the lot at 530 and found a small amount of fresh on a hard base. Not alot of people and the conditions were darn good. Great visibility, no goggles or glasses needed. Hit the quad most of the night and the groomers were fun. I am sure there was some pow in the trees but it was too dark. First time night skiing in over 10 years, kind of cool. Got in about 15 runs and 10k vert.

Hey, why not consolidate posts. I was also up there last night, got in two laps on an iced out C2 before they closed it up for the day. . The rest of the day was spent throwing small lips off the quad and having a great time. Props to all the skiers who I struck up a conversation with on a lift. Snow was decent, great for the groomers
