As one gets a ride in, consider it "lift-assisted".  Our family returned for its second stay at this wonderful lodge system.  Around 2 feet of fresh snow fell between 6 PM Friday and 11 AM Sunday.  Everything is skier/snowshoe-er tracked, so the early birds on Saturday had their work cut out for them.  We got in two 300-500-foot vert runs on a hillside over looking High Camp.  The powder was so deep that at the moderate angles of this particular area, it was mostly sweet straightlining.  I had a great late afternoon loop on the well-marked XC trails in soft light.  There was so much new snow, some guests had an entertaining night ski to get some snowmobile "issues" sorted out on the access logging road, and work towards prepping it for gear and those guests who were not skiing or snowshoe-ing out.  A foot of fresh and heavier snow on Sunday morning changed plans, and dictated a ski or snowshoe exit for all.  We were met by warm 4 X 4s about 4 miles down.  It was actively raining at this point, and there were about 8 inches of sludge on our cars at about 2000 feet.  The great accomodations and facilities, and nice hosts and fellow guests, allowed us to really experience and enjoy "tough" Cascade conditions in comfort and safety.

Sounds sweet. We are going early February; are there many steep/turnable slopes? Any recommendations? Should I bring my fat skis and boots?

See a PM for a long-winded reply. Bottom line is they haul your stuff up and there is something for everyone: steeps, rolling terrain, and almost flat. So take a variety-pack of skis and boots!
