Alpental 12-27

Great afternoon at Alpental with my brother (who I see once a year since he lives in another hemisphere). It snowed throughout the afternoon and the snow was abut as light as it can get at Alpental. Didn't ski off piste a lot but there seemed to be 8" to 12" of new in the trees, and some wind which was filling things back in. Snowline was somewhere between Issaquah and Preston...

The patrol was doing control work after they closed the top around 3P. We heard a couple bombs before we headed for the freeway.
