12/10/06 Stevens pass

I was expecting bad snow and crowds.  Fortunately I was wrong on both accounts.  The worst line was maybe 4 minutes, and there was at least a couple of inches of soft to be found.  The frontside was better than the back which had been scraped down a bit.  I was with friends, so we stuck to the groomers, which were in good shape.  It's fun going fast!

I was up there last night. Monday night skiing is not very crowded. It snowed hard til I left at 10 pm. It was a little heavy at the bottom, but face shots at the top. Sounds a little better than Low Snoquality Pass...
