November 29th 2006, Stevens Pass

Arrived at the hill about 9:15am.  Roads in my neighborhood were by far the worst.  Dropped the dough and Whistler Edge card for the $12 discount...sweet!

Promptly ran up and over to the back side for the season opening event.  1st three or so laps were great, mostly untracked each time around the Jupiter lift.  Slowly the traverse to skiers left towards southern cross got longer and longer, getting myself and "loom" to the GOODS.  Best laps of the day were had on the furthest most endeavor.  Coverage was pretty darn good, I found but one rock to hit all day.  However a gaggle of skiers managed to uncover a nice rock garden by dropping a 5'-10' footer and getting a few granite enema's.....

We took a lunch and beverage break about 1ish and then lapped the same region 3 more times before catching the 3:20 lift out of the basin.

Great day to bail out on work....26,000 vertical total for the day!

Not sure what you meant. Does Stevens give a discount to Edge Card holders and is it for all season? Thanks.

Edge card holders recieve a $12 dollar discount on all week day tickets and $7 dollars off on weekends...but who rides inbounds pn weekends? Right?
